Canvas, ground unworked, design worked in polychrome silks in tent stitch; details and outlining in gilt metallic thread in stem stitch. Ruyi symbol at top, lotus plant design on each side. Case partially lined with cream silk, stiffened with board. Sewn-in end of blue silk. Side edges and tops bound with blue and cream woven silk ribbon. Flat cream cord with two pink glass beads.
