Description

Faded red satin embroidered with polychrome silks in satin, long and short and stem stitch; couched gilt metallic thread. Ruyi symbol at top. Tree peony (?), peacock on rocks on one side; water, grasses, flowers and two cockerels on other side. Sewn-in end of matching silk; side edges and tops bound with blue and cream woven ribbon. Case lined with blue silk. Flat yellow cord with two pink glass beads.
