Description

One side cream satin, other brown satin. Both sides embroidered with polychrome silks and gilt metallic thread in Pekinese stitch. Ruyi symbol at top. On cream side flowering branches with a butterfly, bird (parrot?) and insect, the latter two padded and raised from the surface. On brown side, flowering branches with a bird (phoenix?) and insect, both padded and raised. Case partially lined in red silk, stiffened with thin board, inner lining of blue linen. Sewn-in end of blue silk. Flat green cord with two pink glass beads.
