"This, the tenth publication of Harrison of Paris, designed by Monroe Wheeler, has been printed in Haarlem ... by Joh. Ensched´e en Zonen under the supervision of J. van Krimpen. It is the first book to be printed in Mr. van Krimpen's twelve-point Romanée type. The edition consists of 6 copies on China paper for the author, A-F; 40 copies ... on Pannekoek white pure-rag paper, signed by the author and illustrator, I-XL; 695 copies ... on especially made cream-coloured Pannekoek paper, 1-695; and 15 copies on Japan vellum not for sale and so marked."--Colophon. Museum has copy marked "not for sale" signed by author and illustrator. Paper watermarked "Pannekoek Holland". Half bound in brown leather, with two black leather inserts on spine stamped in gold with title and author; black paper sides and endpages; top edge of pages gilt. Binding stamp: "Huser - Paris".
