"This fine art facsimile volume is a complete and faithful recreation of the Apocalypse now in Trinity College Library in Cambridge, UK ... limited to 980 copies numbered in Arabic numerals. A further 80 copies, numbered in Roman numerals, are destined exclusively for documentation and archive purposes. Faksimile Verlag Luzern assumed the overall publishing responsibility. The Fine Art Facsimile Department of the Print & Art Workshop, Graz, ensured the capture of digital images ... Preparation of picture data, the colour printing, the engraving and the rendering of the gold patina were done by Print & Art, Graz. The faithful application of gold leaf was ensured by the expertise of OFT GmbH, Neuss. This volume was hand-sewn, bound in goatskin and gold tooled in the workshop of Buchbinderei Burkhardt, Mönchaltorf/Zürich, modelled on the binding of the original."--Colophon. Museum has copy no.
