Rackham attributed this pot to Wedgwood on the basis of a block for a cauliflower teapot in the then Etruria Museum. However, an exact match of the moulding would be required before this could be a conclusive attribution on that ground. Cauliflower ware was made by several north Staffordshire potters in this period.
