Pewter trencher salt. Curved truncated cone form, with reeding, matting, and 'C' section moulding at the top. Stamped with the initials 'E. M.' inside base.
Unclear mark underneath base, with an anchor

Declared fake by the Pewter Society, October 1953. In the style of circa 1700
