Two handled pewter cup. Straight sided with everted rim, stepped base, and two single scroll handles. The body has wrigglework engraving, one one side with two tulips and two winged putti, bearing a crown and inscription "vinum tuum bibe cum gaudio 1660". While the other side has the Stuart Royal Arms, 'CR', and '1660'.
Marked with J. B. and bell in circle.
Believed to be a fake, in the style of circa 1660. No base patina and the body may be from another item, of a later date. Repairs have been made to the rim
