Description

Silver; covered tankard

Silver, raised, with a low moulded foot, and pear-shaped body with an applied horizontal moulding about a third of the way up. The raised and seamed scroll handle has a heart-shaped lower terminal and a cast lambrequin motif at the top below the hinge. The tall stepped and domed cover has an openwork thumbpiece.
