Note

One of several prints signed FG, after designs by Primaticcio, traditionally identified as by Guido Ruggieri, who worked with Primaticcio at Fontainebleau in the 1540s. Suzanne Boorsch has suggested the monogram is GF, and has linked the group with the Italian artist Girolamo Faccioli (Fagiuoli).
