Tortoise-shell with miniature of flowers in a stone vase and a bird's nest on a marble slab
Tortoise-shell set with a miniature in watercolour and bodycolour on card, mounted under glass. The circular box has slightly concave sides and slightly convex base and pull-off lid. The circular miniature depicts a stone vase of flowers, including roses, tulips, delphiniums, narcissi and carnations, next to a bird's nest with three turquoise eggs, on a marble slab.
