Note

Close copy to the plate engraved by Philip Galle first published 1578-80. Slight differences to the original in the Latin inscription, which reads: "Sic hastile ferit errantes montibus apros Cuspide, vel flamma rumpit precordia plumbum". This state with Johannes Galle's address published in 1634.
