Plain Sewing Sampler

Flannel, with some cotton, worked in green silk. A plain sewing sampler showing dressmaking and mending techniques with pattern darning, buttonhold and close herringbone stitch. The initials and dated E.A.F./4th Yr 1896' worked in cross stitch.
