Description

Stoneware, thrown, with creamy-grey glaze, painted in iron-brown.

Stoneware, thrown, with creamy-grey matt glaze, painted in iron-brown. Circular with a narrow rim, and deep curved sides, standing on a footring. In the centre is a broad brown circle with two narrow concentric circles around it, surrounded by six radiating lines forming panels, each containing three v shapes one above the other, and surrounded by a narrow circle. On the rim there is a broad brown band which extends over the edge to the back. Lower down on the back there is a narrow band around the shoulder, one above the footring, and one on it.
