Method of acquisition: Given (1936) by Charrington, John
Monogram G (or C?) F intertwined lower left. Drugulin states that the print is by Cleyn. Nagler says that it is more likely to be by Fentzel as it differs entirely to other etchings by Cleyn. The portrait is not listed under either artist in the German Hollstein volumes.
