Description

Pottery feline dragon, made from a pinkish buff fabric with uneven grey surface. The dragon crouches with its back arched and its head up, its forelegs extended in front and its tailed curved up over its back.
The wings, which would have projected from its back, are missing.

With an oval label in black, with a tower and 'Malcolm Collection' and inscribed 'E.314'; small rectangle inscribed '137'.

History note: Captain Dugald Malcolm. Exhibited at the Fine Arts Club (London) 1936-1937
