Dark cream-coloured earthenware moulded on three sides with a half figure of Plenty within a scrolled frame, and on the fourth, inscribed in scratch-red, ‘Ann Addams/ Septr ye 16th 1771, and lead-glazed


History note: Mr Sheldon, St Paul's Road, Manchester, from whom purchased in December 1925 for £4.15 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
