Hard-paste porcelain ruby back bowl, painted in enamels, one of a pair. With well rounded sides resting on a low tapered foot. The exterior is decorated with four detached sprays, encompassed by formal scrollwork and flanked by a smaller half open bloom. Reserved against elaborate feathery scrollwork, lightly incised to show through as pale pink, against the rich puce ground.
The white interior has a central cluster of peach, pomegranate, and finger citron.
Seal mark of Qianlong, in underglaze blue.
