Description

Stoneware saucer shaped dish. Covered in a pale blue glaze shading to pale purplish brown at the rim, and having a purplish blue circular marking in the centre of the inside, and three blue streaks further out. Circular, with shallow curved sides, standing on a narrow footring. Jun ware

Oval label printed in black with a tower and 'Malcolm Collection' and inscribed in blue black ink 'D./76'. Oval printed in black 'Oriental Ceramic Society 19 Exhibition'. Inscribed in green '52' and '3'.

There are four gold repairs to the rim, three chips in the footring, and several long craze lines in the glaze on the interior.
