Hard-paste porcelain decorated with a yellow ground, and blue and gold borders: in the reserve, probably Circe offering the magic cup to Ulysses. On the saucer, MD monogram. Inscribed underneath: ‘Die Hochachtung von ihren/Freund,wecht ihnen diess kleine/Andenken,/Johann Baumann
