Factory: Meissen Porcelain Factory
Hard-paste porcelain covered cup and saucer, decorated in brown enamel and gilt on a white ground. On each piece a reserve is painted in brown monochrome, enclosed by a gilt frame of ribbons and flowers, depicting two scenes from classical mythology and a winged heart.
Mark: on both pieces are crossed swords, and asterisk, and the number '4' in underglaze blue. The cup also has a 'V'
