Description

Bronze. Bell shaped mortar with a design and inscription inlaid with white metal. A fret or key-like pattern round the rim, the bowl divided into three borders, two narrow one wide, the lower one a leaf design, the wide centre panel inscribed;- al-Malik al-Adil al-Nâsir Qatâûn - the base folded.
