Description

Bronze. Bell-shaped mortar with white metal inlay. The bowl divided into three borders, a key or fret border and a wide one inscribed: al-Malik al-Adil al-Nâsir al Ghauri, dated 865 ^H=1460 - the foot plain. Round the top beneath the lip a narrow leaf border.
