Description

Stoneware, potted and moulded, covered with thick pale blue and purple glaze. The sides of this thickly-potted shallow bowl are moulded with six petals below six bracket lobes at the flattened rim. The edge of the rim slightly raised and three ruyi?? feet are applied to a low lobed ring at the base. The base is incised with the numeral qi (?seven). The bowl is covered in a thick glaze, the exterior and rim is shades of purple and light blue with areas of pale brown where the glaze has thinned; the interior predominantly pale blue and the base has a thin brown glaze, with a ring of twelve spur marks revealing the grey body.
