White earthenware, moulded and decorated underglaze with a multicolour transfer print. Circular. On top of lid 'River Scene', 'RW' on boat; rope border; black key plate with pinkish-buff, dark pink, blue and green applied by hand.


History note: Possibly bought from Stanley Woolston, Cambridge
