Description

Glazed amulet in the form of a double lion.

Faience amulet in the form of double lion. Lions in Nubia and Egypt represented the king and strength. It is possible that here the pair represent a pair of lion cubs. The two appear to look towards each other. From the treasury at Sanam and probably left as a dedication there.
