The Reed Warbler
Factory: F. & R. Pratt & Co.
White earthenware, moulded, decorated with coloured transfer prints under a very slightly blue glaze. Blue, yellow, green and a little pink, with a brown key plate. Circular with a sloping rim and flat central area. 'The Reed Warbler'. On the rim, two shades of maroon enamel ground and 'pearl and dot' border with five gilt lines.
History note: Bought by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher in Stoke, June, 1925.
