Papier-mâché, lacquered; on the lid an applied print of a hunting scene, on the interior an applied print of an erotic scene

Papier-mâché and lacquer; circular with slightly concave sides and an almost flat pull-off lid. The base, sides and interior are lacquered black. The top and interior of the lid have applied prints varnished brown. The print on the top depicts a hunting scene with four horsemen and two men on foot and their dogs chasing a deer. At the base is the inscription 'La Chasse au Cerf'. The print in the interior depicts an erotic scene.
