Description

White earthenware, moulded, decorated with coloured transfer prints under a clear, crazed glaze. Blue, yellow and red with a brown key plate. Circular with a wavy edge, sloping fluted rim and flat central area. 'A View of Llangollen', after Llangollen Denbighshire by H. Gastineau. On the edge of the rim, a border composed of light and darker green enamel wavy lines between two gilt lines.
