Pottery: Redcliff Back Pottery (Probably)
Earthenware, the upper surface tin-glazed pale blue and painted in blue and bianco-sopra-bianco. In the middle, a fence with bamboo and prunus plants; border of stylised flowers and foliage in bianco-sopra-bianco.
History note: Mr S.G. Hewlett, Reigate; purchased from him for £1.50 through Mr Hemming, Little Brandes, near Tunbridge Wells in 1928 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
