Earthenware, tin-glazed white on the upper surface and painted in blue. In a square, framed by a scrolled border, 'Ahija Rending his Garment'. Inscribed at lower centre, '1 Reg 11:30'. There is a hole in the top right corner and in the bottom left corner.
