First published state. Printseller's Association archive (administered by the Fine Art Trade Guild): The engraving was one of a pair with, The Rhine, Osterspey and Feltzen. PSA records list William Miller as additional printmaker and D.T. White as publisher. A limited edition of 50 Artist's Proofs on India Paper were priced at 10gns for the pair. A limited number of first proofs were printed on India Paper priced at 6gns. 100 lettered prints were printed on French Paper priced at 4gns. The plates were destroyed after a 200-print run.
