Description

Angular leaf-shaped steel blade of low diamond section, made in one with and fading gently into the socket, which is short and faceted with a visible weld line down one side. The surface is polished bright, with some pitting from its earlier corrosion, and some lamination

History note: Probably from the Tanjore armoury, broken up in 1860 (see documentation Elgood 2004)
