The iron hilt, of Indo-Muslim type, has short quillons with rounded terminals, long langets with stylised bud finials, an angular, faceted baluster grip, a thick, shallow dish pommel with a thick rim, petalled washer, fluted dome and oval finial. A thick double curved knucklebow runs from the lower quillon to end in a recurved ribbed acorn by the pommel.
