Stove tile. Buff earthenware, moulded in relief and decorated with white, blue, green and dark yellow. Part of the cresting of a stove. Rectangular with a flat base and shaped top; on the back, two sloping struts rise from the base. Two putti holding up the ends of a cloth, below which is a grotesque mask mid-way between them.
History note: Purchased from Boisard, Lucerne, September, 1903.
