Butt spike for a spear. Of steel, comprising a long round-section spike with a square section tip decorated with pairs of incised lines between zigzags, a double knop with mouldings at either side and a zigzag between, and a short flaring socket with a flanged, cog-like rim and a seam running up one side. The whole polished bright with pitting
