Pottery: Unknown (Probably)
Stoneware, thrown, with parts attached, and celadon-glazed. This small ewer has a tall neck with flaring mouth and an elongated body. The cover is now missing, and the spout and part of the handle are replaced. The pale glossy bluish-green glaze is thinly applied and partly crackled. The shoulder is sprinkled with ash from the firing. The glaze has been wiped from the footring, which shows traces of four fire-clay supports.

This type of ewer is most unusual; it may have been used for wine, or condiment sauce. Judging by the colour of the glaze, the clay body and the firing method, it might come from the Yongun-ri kilns.
