This is a very rare piece, most certainly made at Sadang-ri around the 1160s. Compare Sekai Toji Zenshu, vol.18, 1978, pls.48 and 49 for a bowl in the Seoul National Museum with a similar design and of similar glaze colour, but with an additional border of inlaid white slip.
