Stoneware, thrown, shaped, luted and celadon-glazed. The rounded bowl-shaped stand rests on a thick eight-lobed flower-shaped tray with a high splayed foot. The pale blue-green glaze is thinly applied and glossy. On the footring there are traces of five greyish-white fire-clay spurs.

Probably Yongun-ri ware.

This type of stand was made for large tea or wine bowls (such as C.450 & A-1984). The style with its crisp outlines is relatively early. It may have been made at kilns no. 9 or no. 12 at Yongun-ri, Kangjin.
