Pottery: Unknown (Possibly)
Cup with peony design. Stoneware, thrown, carved and incised and celadon-glazed. This cup has a rounded body and a high flared foot. The sides are divided by six indents, carved to form petal panels. Each petal is decorated with an incised peony spray. The foot is similarly divided into six lobed sections. The centre inside is recessed. The glaze is of a pale bluish green, evenly applied and crackled. The footring has been wiped free of glaze and shows traces of three fire-clay supports.
