Melon-shaped ewer with foliate design. Stoneware, thrown, indented, painted in iron-oxide, and celadon-glazed. The eight-lobed melon-shaped ewer has a flat top and a recessed base, a double-stranded curved handle with a loop on top to secure a (now missing) cover, and a short (restored) spout. The sides are painted with four brown foliate sprays, the glaze is of grey-green tone. The base shows traces of three sandy supports.
