The blade is thick and forward curved, with a double notch at the forte and a section of punched and incised decoration at the forte. The hilt is of horn with low-grade silver ferrule, medial band and pommel cap. The band is decorated with crude floral scroll and the pommel with a close set design of punched Ss and dots. There are two small bye-knives, and a scabbard covered in black leather with a chape matching the pommel.
