Pottery: Unknown (Probably)
Small dish with flowers design. Stoneware, thrown, inlaid in black and white slip, and celadon glazed. This shallow dish has straight everted sides and a flat base. The inside is inlaid in white slip with a flower-head within a double circle in the centre, and detached flower sprays between borders of youi-heads and classic scroll round the sides. The outside is inlaid with five sprays of peony in black and white slip. The base has three quartzite spur-marks. The glaze is of opaque pale bluish-green colour with a glossy surface, evenly applied but pooling inside the bowl.
