Silver, parcel-gilt; the deep fig-shaped bowl is silver-gilt, as are cast double masks of cherubs amid scrolls at either end of the hexagonal silver handle. The back of the bowl is engraved with a crest and vacant shield surrounded by mantling within a wreath of laurels.
