Creil factory (Factory)


White earthenware, lead-glazed, and printed in greyish black. and banded in black enamel Circular with a narrow rim and shallow well. Decorated in the well with a view of Burghley House from the park, titled below, ‘CHATEAU DE BURGHLEY/ Comte de Northampton.’ and encircled by a narrow printed band. On the rim there is a border of a fruiting vine between black enamel circles.
