Kirumbyong
Pottery: Unknown
Oil bottle with chrysanthemum design. Stoneware, thrown, inlaid in black and white slip, and celadon glazed. This oil bottle (kirumbyong) has the usual flattened body and cupped mouth, and a recessed base. It is inlaid in black and white slip with a chrysanthemum scroll on the upper and seven chrysanthemum sprays on the lower half. The greenish- brown glaze is unevenly applied. The base shows quartzite spur-marks.
