Note

Chaloner-Smith assigns this print to the earlier portion of the 18th Century. It is copied from another print, with only four of the seven lines of verse that appeared on the earlier print. This in trun was copied after an engraving by George Vertue after H. Hysing dated 1725 (see BM Satires 1753). The address after Bowles' name is bearly visible.
