Description

Kiln waster of two bowls and a dish. Stoneware, thrown, inlaid in white slip and celadon-glazed. This waster consists of two bowls and one dish that collapsed and fused together during firing. The small dish on top is inlaid in the centre with a floret in a triple ring, and the two bowls each with horizontal lines on the inside, all in white slip. The glaze is a dark greenish blue and the footring of the lower bowl shows traces of a sandy support. The three pieces were kept apart with conical spurs and disk-shaped supports.
