Note

The fragment is brushed with slip on the inside only while on the outside the glaze is applied directly onto the body. The foot and base are unglazed, and the footring as well as the centre inside show traces of sandy supports, because such bowls were fired in stacks. The clay body is coarse and the white slip shows traces of the brush. This ware was made in kilns all over the peninsula.
