Pottery: Unknown
Bottle with flowers design. Porcelain, thrown, painted in cobalt-blue and glazed. This small bottle is of typical late nineteenth-century shape, with a splayed foot. On either side it is sketchily painted with flowers and grasses growing by a rock and a butterfly between. The glaze has a pale bluish tone, and there are traces of a fine fire-clay support on the footring.
